Sounds fine, but I really only have less than 48 hours to do so because my mom is coming to visit me (YAYYY) and she would not be thrilled to get to the airport only to find out I'm on a bus in Mendoza. SOOOOOO, I think I have to use half of the money I saved to be able to treat my mom while she's here and hop on over to Mendoza. Any other gringas who need to renew their visas wanna join me? I think the buses don't leave at night during this time of year, but I'm going down to the bus station this afternoon to check out my possibilities. Odds are, I'll be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning and coming back Sunday night.
Luckily, this will be the only time I'll have to do this...

Woah. I was just in Mendoza this weekend for the same reason. Did you get in on the sliding action at the border? We saw a couple other gringos up there sliding with an orange backpack cover.
Oh, us and our visa problems. You had some luck with finding the contract job. Every job that has offered me a contract has either be a.skitch b. a slave driver c. found my blog and demanded I stop it (No joke).
Have fun in Mendoza. I have a feeling that's where I will be going sometime before December 11th. ugh...
Random Google Search got me to your blog.
What is the cheapest place to go to on the Chiliean side? I am coming from BsAs and going to Mendoza (going to work at a bodega) but will need to renew my Argentine Visa shortly.
(I have EU passport, so I won't need a visa to enter Chile).
Any help would be great!
Thanks!
